The earthquake
The older kids screamed, "Earthquake." Room threes lights were shaking like a washing machine. The teachers thought it was the stereo. The year six boys were laughing like nothing was happening. The little kids did not know there was an earthquake. When we were outside it happened, I felt sick.
When we went to class everbody was yelling at whaea Lisa,
"did you feel the earthquake?"

HIP HOP
I got in the hall. I heard music pumping on the ground. Everyone heard it in their classrooms. It was like it was trying to get into my ear drums. When Monique said, "Walk around." Everyone started to run crazy like a tornado. Whaea Darnielle shouted, "Listen up, listen to Monique or I'll sit your butts down." Then it was like we were doing a ballet dance. Every time I did the matrix, it hurt my tummy and I fell on the ground. Then after a while I got up. Then when it was nearly finished I felt my stomach. It was pumping.

My body is grooving to the beat. My toes were tapping to the ground. I was swaying side to side. I was going bonkers with all my friends. It was like the hall was chitty chatting to me, with excitement. It was the time the hall was vibrating to me. I was twirling and whirling. It was like a ghost was controlling my fantastic skills.

HIP HOP
The beat started to pump fast. My body started shaking. The music is cool. It's confusing sometimes because , when we do the spinning part the dance teacher does the wrong move. Then we all do the same thing but some of the other kids at the back do the right thing and then we have to do it over and over and over again.
