Description of a tornado

We watched a You tube clip of a tornado and then we brainstormed words that we heard in the clip to use in our descriptions.

A tornado came down like a rocket.  The tornado swings side to side.  It tears houses apart like pieces of paper.  Then when it's finished leaving a disaterous mess.  People died in that tornado.

It was turning out of control sucking things up like a vacuum.  It was ripping the houses apart.  It was as dangerous as a Tsunami.  Picking up trucks and throwing them like they're just a bunch of toy trucks.   Rumbling like a noisy earthquake.

Character Description of a Maori Warrior

His pukana has google eyes.  His hair was like rope.  His tongue was slithering like a snake in and out of his mouth.  His body was wriggling like jelly.  His eyebrows almost touched part of his nose as he frowned.  His mouth opened like a lion roaring.

He was doing the pukana.  His hair looked like ropes.  He had long teeth and his eyebrows are nearly around his face.  He had tattoos all over his body.  He has one earring on and his eyes were popping right out of his face.  He had a green stone on.  His hair was so thick and knotted you wouldn’t be able to brush it.  At the back of his teeth are like vampires teeth.  His nose was like a pig nose.  His body is so strong, he looked scary.

His muscles looked like they were going to pop out.  His hair looked like ropes.  His eyes looked big like circles.  His mouth was wide open.  He had Maori tattoos on his face.  His face was doing the pukana.  He looked really angry like a lion.  His body looked muscley.
